Fukuoka App Manages Restaurant Orders and Payments

AliveCast Inc., a software development company based in Fukuoka City, is currently testing a new application that enables customers of restaurants and bars to place orders and pay with their smartphones. The app is named Ex Order and designed to reduce the workload for restaurant staff as human resources have become a nationwide challenge. Using the system, customers’ orders are directly sent to the kitchen while payments are made for each order online. A special version is being tested at a school before the company officially releases the application to business owners. Source: Ex Order, 11/6/2019
