A Fukuoka-based AI company, Groovenauts, Inc., announced a collaboration with Tokyo University Hospital to develop an image-based disease prediction system. While the university hospital was already developing a disease prediction system based on patients’ ages, sex, and blood, Groovenauts’ new AI system can integrate image data. The multimodal analyzation will produce clear images to help predict the development of diseases, including cancer. The project aims to develop an initial model system by the end of 2020.
