Fukuoka Chimps Eat Winter Veg To Prevent Colds
As the cold days continue, Fukuoka Zoo is feeding its resident chimpanzees vitamin C rich winter vegetables to assist in the prevention of catching a cold. Zoo keepers have been preparing leeks, turnips, white radishes and pumpkins for the chimps during winter for the last five years. Fukuoka Zoo is open 09:00~17:00 Tue~Sun.
