Fukuoka City Allows Extended Child-rearing Leave

Fukuoka City announced an extended deadline for returning to jobs for parents who are planning to put their children in nurseries from April 1. Amidst the impact of the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), some parents need to stay at home even after their childcare leave ends. To support them as well as parents who prefer to keep their children at home to avoid the risk of infection, the deadline to resume their jobs will be extended from Arp. 24 to June 1.
