Fukuoka City began providing vaccinations for the new coronavirus to those without bookings. According to the city, the booking rate for the city’s Cruise Center (Hakata Ward) vaccination venue stands at around 50% on some days. By creating a more flexible vaccination system, Fukuoka City aims to accelerate vaccinations amongst younger people. The venue provides the Moderna vaccine. The city would post online when the number of same-day vaccines surpasses supply. Source: Asahi / Nikkei
