Fukuoka City Expects Lower Tax Collection

Fukuoka City announced predictions for a lower tax collection due to the effects of the new coronavirus. According to the city’s calculation, municipal tax for the fiscal year of 2020 would total ¥341 billion, dropping by around ¥3.3 billion from the year before. It would be the sharpest fall since the time of the global financial crisis in 2008.  Source: NHK
