Fukuoka Dydo Seika Co., Kyushu’s largest produce wholesaler, has signed an export-import agreement with a Taiwanese wholesaler of agricultural products, it was announced. This is the first agreement for a Japanese produce wholesaler to directly export and import products with an overseas company. By bypassing an agent, the company hopes to cut operating costs and boost transaction volume.
