Fukuoka City Requests Slow Down for Vaccine Bookings

A request to limit the number of bookings for new coronavirus vaccinations has been made to medical institutions in Fukuoka City. In response to the national government’s anticipation of a slow-down in the volume of imported vaccines in the period between July and September, the city notified around 800 hospitals. Postponements of scheduled injections will be necessary at some facilities, including Fukuoka Rehabilitation Hospital. According to Fukuoka City, the number of vaccines for August is unknown.
