Fukuoka City Subway’s train schedule will be amended from Mar. 16. According to the announcement by Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau, this will be the first major change of the timetable over eight years. Currently, Kuko Subway Line has a load factor of 140% between Akasaka Station and Ohorikoen Station during 8:00 to 8:59 on weekdays and the company aims to ease the overcrowding down to 133% by adding another train that runs from Meinohama to Fukuoka Airport. The new timetable will be announced early March before it takes effect on Mar. 16. Source: Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau, 2/6/2019
