Fukuoka City to Accept Use of Co-working Space as Registered Office for Foreigner-launched Startups

While such an arrangement is permitted by the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act of Japan, Fukuoka City took advantage of its designation as the national strategic zones to make this exception. The program will take effect once the national advisory board officially approves it. The city also supports acquisitions of ‘Startup Visas’ for local exchange students who wish to launch a business during their time in Japan. Source: Yomiuri
