Fukuoka City To Continue Operation of Hydrogen Station

Fukuoka City will acquire the government-owned hydrogen station in Chuo Ward. The facility was initially built in 2015 as a social trial for generating power from sewage sludge. But there were no plans for the plant beyond March 2022. By expanding the operation from the current one day per week to four days a week or more, the city will promote fuel cell vehicles in the region. Source: NHK / Yomiuri
