Fukuoka City will commercially provide hydrogen for local fuel cell vehicle drivers from Sep. 26. The fuel is generated from processed sewage, a project that recently passed testing as part of the national sewage innovation program. The project’s Fukuoka City Hydrogen Station would produce hydrogen to power 35 FCVs daily and sell for ¥1,210/kg while continuing research in the field. Source: Kyushu University / RKB / Nikkei
