Fukuoka City To subsidize PCR Tests For Medical Workers

Fukuoka City prepares to accelerate PCR testing amongst local medical and elderly care workers ahead of the influenza season’s arrival. It recently started seeking a special operator that can provide up to 2,500 virus screenings and handle related jobs such as processing applications and notifying test results, with a budget of ¥700 million. Eligible workers will be able to take the test for less than ¥10,000. The city aims to open the facility as early as December. Source: Fukuoka City
