The salsa dance troupe “Mamboccha” are gearing up to participate in the World Latin Dance Cup in Miami (USA) this week. The event launches on Dec. 12, with 250 teams from 50 nations competing, and it’s the first time for a group from Kyushu to ever join the event. Fukuoka’s “Mamboccha” troupe is usually comprised of 13 dancers including the teacher. Members are mainly housewives. Unfortunately seven members can’t attend the event due to work and other commitments, however the remaining 6 members of the troupe are training hard! Ganbatte!
