Fukuoka Prefecture will expand the scope of its ‘Fukuoka Himitsu no Tabi’ sightseeing promotion campaign. The program currently offers hotel discounts of up to ¥5,000 (per night, per person) or other benefits to Fukuoka residents who stay at local accommodation facilities; meanwhile, reflecting the latest COVID-19 infection situation, travelers from prefectures of Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, and Yamaguchi would also become eligible from as early as next week.
