Fukuoka to Host Norwegian Athletes for Pre-Olympic Training

Fukuoka Prefecture and Fukuoka City have reached an agreement to serve as the pre-Olympic training camp for the Norwegian team. This is the second country that Fukuoka will host after agreeing in October 2014 to host Team Sweden. Around 100 athletes will join in the preliminary training sessions, which will be held at several local venues including Hakata no Mori Athletic Field and Level Five Stadium. After paying a visit to the area, the Norwegian Olympic Committee decided to train in Fukuoka because of its ample athletic facilities and convenient access to the airport. Source: FIBA
