Fukuoka Hotels in Redecorating Frenzy
The Nishinippon Shimbun reports that many hotels in Fukuoka City are undergoing full-scale redecorations. The objective is to attract and keep customers before the large influx of business hotels expected with the start of the Kyushu Shinkansen in 2011. The redecorations include efforts to attract business customers as well as female tourists from overseas.
