Fukuoka Institute of Technology Release Walking App With Natural disaster Information

The Fukuoka Institute of Technology released a walking app to make fitness walking more informative. The smartphone application, ‘Bonsai Go’ (disaster prevention go), presents safety quizzes as users approach streets with risks of flooding and other natural disasters. The application aims to deepen residents’ understanding of the geographical features of their living areas instead of conventional hazard maps and other academic resources. The development team is working to extend the application area of coverage. Source: https://www.fit.ac.jp/news/archives/3345
