Fukuoka Prefecture has launched its first startup support hub, “Global Connect Fukuoka,” inside the One Fukuoka Building in Tenjin. Operated by CIC Fukuoka, a U.S.-based startup accelerator, the center connects startups with investors, offers management consulting, and organizes pitch events to help businesses secure funding and expand internationally. Staffed by six full-time personnel, the office serves mainly local startups and SMEs.
