Fukuoka Police Alert Residents About Corona-linked Fraud

Fukuoka Prefectural Police had reported six cases of corona-linked fraud. In some cases, male and female victims failed to receive surgical masks and other sanitation products they ordered online in March for a total of ¥80,550. Other cases involving suspicious emails and phone calls offering corporate bonds to develop corona-care cures have been reported in the region. Police warn people to be cautious about such incidents and consult others when encountering such suspicious situations. Source: NPA 2020-04-08
