Fukuoka Prefectural Police had reported six cases of corona-linked fraud. In some cases, male and female victims failed to receive surgical masks and other sanitation products they ordered online in March for a total of ¥80,550. Other cases involving suspicious emails and phone calls offering corporate bonds to develop corona-care cures have been reported in the region.
