Fukuoka Prefecture Appreciated ¥2.3 Billion Budget for Corona Countermeasures

Fukuoka Prefecture proposed an additional budget of ¥2.3 billion for corona-related support projects. It was approved at the prefectural assembly on March 13. In response to emergency measures set up by the national government, the prefecture plans to spend ¥1.2 billion to aid families who lose part of their income. More measures, such as supplementing medical equipment and supplies of masks, support, and for mid-small companies, are included in the revised budget. Source: Yomiuri 2020-03-16
