Fukuoka Prefecture has established the Fukuoka Wind Power Industry Promotion Council, a new body comprising companies, organizations and other members. Masayoshi Nuki, an advisor to Kyushu Electric Power Company, has been appointed as the chair of the Council. For the time being, the Council will focus on providing the latest information and holding seminars to promote the creation of an industrial cluster and attract new players to the industry.
