Fukuoka Prefecture Introduces Eatery Inspections

Fukuoka Prefecture plans to introduce a new COVID-19 safety program to local eateries. Inspections will be made to check on the proper implementation of anti-infection measures at some 35,000 restaurants, bars, cafes, etc., that are eligible to receive ¥50,000 in aid. Forty to fifty criteria, including installing partitions and proper use of sanitizers, will be set. Also, shops that fail to complete them at their first inspections will be inspected again after they report adjustments. Source: NHK
