Fukuoka Prefecture Launches Meal Vouchers to Help Struggling Restaurants

Fukuoka Prefecture has started selling its own meal vouchers, “Umakaken Fukuoka,” to help boost sales for restaurants affected by COVID-19 and rising prices. The vouchers can be redeemed for 10,000 yen worth of meals at prefecture-certified restaurants that have undergone infection control measures. The sale of the vouchers will begin on February 6th and will be valid from February 1st to April 30th. The prefecture aims to support local restaurants facing challenging business conditions.
