Fukuoka Prefecture Likely To Reduce Bonuses Paid to Staff

On October 15, Fukuoka Prefecture’s personnel committee advised the prefectural governor to reduce winter bonuses. While local private companies are paying reduced bonuses due to the new coronavirus spread’s impact, the committee requested the prefecture follow by reducing ¥19,000 from the average bonus. If the prefecture follows the advice, it would be the first decline in paid bonuses in the past ten years. Source: RKB / Sankei / Mainichi
