A Tokyo-based nonprofit organization, Furusato Kaiki Shien Center, published a 2021 ranking of popular prefectures for relocators, and Fukuoka ranked second. Other Kyushu prefectures, including Kagoshima (14th) and Kumamoto (18th), also ranked higher than last year.
