Fukuoka Prefecture to Introduce Naming Rights for Public Facilities

Fukuoka Prefecture announces plans to offer naming rights for four public facilities, including parks and sports complexes, to secure funding for maintenance. Starting in June, companies can bid to name facilities such as the Momochi Cultural Center and the Fukuoka Sports Science Information Center, with contracts running until March 2027. The minimum annual bid ranges from 2.02 to 5 million yen. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience of facilities that have seen increased use post-pandemic but require maintenance due to aging. Source: Fukuoka Prefecture / NHK
