According to an NHK news report, in the early morning of April 10th, an employee of the Fukuoka Prefecture Traffic Safety Association was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The employee denied the charge, saying that he was not aware he was intoxicated. The arrested suspect is Teiyasu Harada, 64, an Fukuoka Prefecture Traffic Safety Association employee. According to the police, Harada is suspected of driving a passenger car under the influence of alcohol on the street near Nishitetsu Fukuoka Tenjin Station.
