Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide has announced that its flagship brand will open a new hotel in Fukuoka City’s Momochihama area on March 17, 2026. Named “Fukuoka Prince Hotel Momochihama,” the 20-story hotel will feature 229 ocean-view rooms and facilities such as an all-day dining restaurant, top-floor club lounge, and fitness gym. Located about 20 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport, the hotel will offer views of Hakata Bay and serve as a resort-style escape near city landmarks including PayPay Dome and Fukuoka Tower. This will be the brand’s first full-service Prince Hotel in Fukuoka, following the opening of the Prince Smart Inn Hakata in 2022. The company aims to enhance regional recognition by incorporating the area name into the hotel’s branding and expects the site to become a hub for tourism amid rising international visitor demand.
