The Fukuoka Asian Urban Research Center of Fukuoka City will conduct a survey of the extent of Fukuoka’s recognition in the coastal areas of China and the major cities of South Korea. The objective is to discover what the people of those countries find appealing about Fukuoka, and to increase interest in tourism here. The survey will also be conducted in Fukuoka itself and Hiroshima to create a comparison.
