The Hawks, Fukuoka’s hometown heroes, currently lead the Pacific League (Japan’s professional baseball league) by a whopping 15 points. So if the Hawks win their game tonight against the Orix Buffaloes, and if the Nippon Ham Fighters lose their game with the Rakuten Eagles, then Fukuoka wins the Pacific League Championship for 2015! So get some frosty cold ones ready and join the Hawks for a celebratory beer shower tonight, or tomorrow – because eventually we will win!!!
