Department store Dalloyau Hong Kong is serving a Fukuoka-inspired sweet set to meet the demands of customers who long for a trip to Japan. While the prolonged impact of the new coronavirus pandemic forces many Hong Kong residents to delay plans to visit Japan, a patisserie and the Fukuoka Prefecture’s office in Hong Kong collaboratively developed a special afternoon tea set. Consisting of sweets made of Fukuoka-sourced Amaou strawberries, Yame-cha tea powder, and more, the afternoon tea (per person) is offered for HKD268. Due to its popularity, the event is continuing much longer than initially planned; it will be available until the end of August. Source: Mainichi / Fukuoka Prefecture’s office in Hong Kong
