Fukuoka City Subway announced it will expand late-night train services from Fridays only to six days a week, operating Monday through Saturday from April 1. The change follows strong demand since limited late-night services were introduced on Fridays in August 2024, particularly from people returning from social gatherings and overseas visitors. Under the new schedule, a total of four additional round trips per day will be added across the Airport, Hakozaki, and Nanakuma lines. The final Airport Line train toward Meinohama will depart Hakata Station at 12:40 a.m., about 35 minutes later than currently. On the Hakozaki Line, the last Kaizuka-bound train will leave Nakasu-Kawabata at 12:26 a.m., while the Nanakuma Line’s final Hashimoto-bound train will depart Tenjin-Minami at 12:33 a.m. The service will be renamed from “Friday Night Train” to “Midnight Train.” Source: NHK News / Fukuoka City Subway
