A smartphone-based technology to make mask wearers’ voices sound clearer is being tested at Fukuoka City’s Higashi Ward Office. The application developer, Sound, is a local startup founded by Professor Yoshitaka Nakajima of Kyushu University. The app catches and processes speakers’ voices and provides clear audio from the connected speaker. Source: Fukuoka City
