A new outlet mall—the largest in Kyushu with about 200 stores—will open in spring 2027 on the former site of Marinoa City Fukuoka in Nishi Ward. Jointly developed by Mitsui Fudosan and Fukuoka Jisho, the complex will have a total floor area of 117,800 square meters, about 3,600 larger than its predecessor. It will feature international brand outlets, select shops, and restaurants aimed at a wide range of visitors, including tourists. An event plaza will also take advantage of the seaside setting.
