Fukuoka To See Earliest Cherry Tree Blossoms in Japan

Fukuoka is predicted to enjoy the earliest first blooms of the sakura season in all of Japan. Weather forecasters announced that cherry blossom trees in the prefecture would bloom as early as Mar. 12 and become full bloom by Mar. 21.
