Fukuoka, WASH House Sign Disaster Aid Pact

Fukuoka Prefecture signed an agreement with laundromat chain WASH House to provide free laundry services for evacuees during disasters. The company will open its 202 laundromats across the prefecture and dispatch mobile laundry trucks with washer-dryers, as used after the Noto Peninsula earthquake. Governor Seitaro Hattori said keeping clothes clean supports both hygiene and morale during emergencies. Source: WASH House
