Fukuoka’s Governor Considers Lowering “Corona Special Alert” to “Warning”

In response to the decrease in the number of new cases of new coronavirus infection in Fukuoka Prefecture, Governor Hattori has indicated that he will consider lowering the prefecture’s own “special corona alert” to “warning” status. On Sep. 12, Governor Hattori told reporters, “The number of newly infected patients has decreased for 19 consecutive days, showing a clear downward trend. The utilization rate of hospital beds was 46.8% as of the 10th, which is less than 50%. Given these facts, the number of cases is below the index for the special warning for new coronas in Fukuoka Prefecture,” he pointed out. Source: NHK
