Garb Leaves, a new restaurant selling French and Italian cuisine made with Kyushu-grown ingredients, will open in Hakata on Apr. 19. The restaurant will take up all three floors of a renovated building, with a grand total of 226 seats available. The first and second floors will offer seating out by the terrace. The restaurant is managed by the same company that runs Pizzeria da Michele Fukuoka, so you can expect the dinner menu to include pizza (¥950 for a margherita) as well as other French and Italian dishes, such as the “Carpaccio of the Day” (¥1,000). It is estimated that dinner will cost around ¥2,500~3,000 per person. The venue will include a projector and screen so that it can be rented out for special occasions, such as weddings. Opening hours will run from 11:30 to midnight. (Contact: 092-432-0075) Source: Balnibarbi official website
