Fukuoka City released a new 24-page brochure introducing Fukuoka’s restaurant scene. The brochure is entirely in English and is available now at tourist information centers in Hakata, Tenjin and also at the Kyushu Tourist Information Center Fukuoka (Tenjin). Twenty-one restaurants, ranging from a tiny curry shop all the way up to high-end French, are included. The City hopes the publication will create awareness of Fukuoka’s rich and diverse food scene. Subtitled, “21 hand-picked shops by locals”, the guide will be especially useful to visitors from overseas who want to go beyond the usual circuit. Fukuoka Now provided the editorial content and assisted in the planning.
