Hakata Bus Terminal Restaurant Floor Reopens

The eighth floor of Hakata Bus Terminal was renovated and reopened on Mar. 18. Additional shops were opened and eight of the pre-existing shops were renovated. The design of the floor was changed and a powder room was added (in the hopes of attracting more female customers). Most importantly, a store guide has been released in four languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean and English. Part of B1F is also under renovation; Makino Udon will open a restaurant there. From Apr. 1, the company managing this facility will change its name from “Fukuoka Kotsu Center” to “Hakata Bus Terminal”. Source: Nishitetsu press release, 3/11
