Fukuoka Directive Council (FDC) revealed its vision for redeveloping the Hakata Port Waterfront area. While the area is seeing a reduced number of international visitors amid the new coronavirus pandemic, the new plans focus more on the concept of “well-being.” Event squares, a park, and more facilities to serve people’s relaxing moments will be created, along with cafes and spaces for food trucks. Those spaces will also support art, music, and urban sports activities. Source: RKB
