Hakata wagyu beef was served at twenty-eight municipal elementary schools in Fukuoka City, supporting local farmers who suffer the impact of the new coronavirus spread. It also plans to serve Hakata jidori chicken, Miyazaki-sourced eel, and other branded fish by the end of the current school year. Source: NHK / Public Interest Fukuoka City School Lunch Corporation
