Hakataza Celebrates 10 Million Visitors

On May 10, Hakataza celebrated reaching 10 million visitors. The 1,500-seat theater, which opened 20 years ago this May, regularly stages kabuki performances and musicals. Kyushu natives Tetsuya Takeda and Korokke appeared at a ceremony to mark the milestone. A couple from Fukutsu City, Fukuoka Prefecture took the cumulative total to the 10 million threshold and were presented with a bouquet of flowers by the two well-known performers in honor of their visit.
