Six people supported by the Saga Prefecture Intractable Disease Network, an NPO helping those with incurable diseases, met with Hiroshi Shibahara and other players from the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks at the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome. The NPO was established by the late Masao Fujii, a former Hawks’ player who was a native of Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. The six later stayed to watch the game played at the Dome that night.
