The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, celebrating their first league championship in four years, will hold a victory parade on November 24, 2024. The parade will start at 11 a.m. at the Doi-dori intersection on Meiji-dori and continue for 2.3 kilometers to the Heiwadai intersection. This announcement was made during the establishment meeting of the parade’s organizing committee on October 7.
The committee chairman, Hiromichi Tanigawa, expressed his commitment to delivering a memorable event for the fans, while SoftBank Hawks Executive Vice President Hiroaki Ota noted how meaningful it is for players to hear fans’ appreciation directly, especially with an expected turnout of nearly 300,000 people lining the parade route.
To support the event, the organizing committee will raise funds through a crowdfunding campaign, which will accept donations until the end of November. Source: SoftBank Hawks / RKB
