Heat Stroke Alert Issued For Fukuoka Prefecture

Heat Stroke Alert is in effect for Fukuoka Prefecture. The Ministry of the Environment is warning people to take proper precautions against severe heat. Use of air conditioners and refrain from outings are strongly encouraged. A daily high of 33 °C is expected in Fukuoka City on July 15 and 34 °C in the cities of Kitakyushu, Kurume, and Iizuka.
