Heating Equipment Donated to Ukrainian Evacuees in Fukuoka

On January 25, seven air conditioners were donated by private companies and individuals to Ukrainian refugees living in Fukuoka Prefecture to help them survive the severe cold weather. The donors of the air conditioners to the Ukrainian evacuees in Fukuoka Prefecture were Sanko Denki, a Yokohama-based company specializing in air conditioning installation, and Daisuke Aikawa, who lives outside the prefecture. Through a mutual acquaintance in Fukuoka, they learned that Ukrainian refugees were living in houses without air conditioners and decided to donate the products. February marks one year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and 135 people are still displaced in Fukuoka Prefecture. Source: KBC
