Home Renovator Charged With Theft of 190 Bottles of Whisky

A self-employed residential renovator in Fukuoka City was arrested for stealing 190 bottles of high-quality whisky from a client’s house. The 48-year-old man is suspected of having repeatedly entered his client’s home in Sawara Ward for over one year after changing the house’s door lock in March 2020. A total of ¥7.7 million worth of liquor disappeared. His dodginess came to light after a housekeeper became suspicious. Apr. 2021. Source: NHK / Asahi
