Host towns in Fukuoka and Saga Prefectures Begin Pre-Olympics Preparations

The first voluntary council to support pre-Olympic and pre-Paralympic host towns was launched in Fukuoka and Saga. The organization aims to support the safe and reassuring operation of host-town activities, such as foreign athletes’ training and cultural exchange events. Cities in the prefectures will accept teams from Sweden, Norway, and Finland. It is expected to become a model case for 510 host towns around Japan. Source: Nikkan Sports
